Legal Word Processor
We are looking for people with 5-7 years of experience in a NYC law firm as a Word Processor. A legal word processor is responsible for all legal correspondence and documentation for a corporation or law firm. Legal word processors work with legal documents they must be familiar with various legal definitions and "jargon" to improve communications correcting grammar & punctuation. Everyone will be tested at LarsenBrown and onsite at the client to ensure they can do this work. They will be tested creating TOCs (Table of contents) & TOAs (Table of authorities), red & black lining, defined terms, creating styles, inserting section breaks etc.
Legal Proofreader
We are looking for people with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal proofreader in a New York City law firm or a firm of a comparable size. Proofreaders must be able to execute track changes in Word 2010 or later. Legal proofreaders are responsible for reviewing documents created by lawyers and paralegals to correct any grammar, spelling and punctuation errors.
Financial Presentation Specialist
We are looking for people that have experience putting together financial presentations for an investment bank. They must be experts in Word, HEAVY Excel and PowerPoint. They also must have knowledge of the Creative Suite (Pht, Ill and InDesign). The key is experience. Unless you have done this working in a NYC investment bank or the rare occasion in a big city where these banks exist, this position is not right for you. Everyone will be tested on a bank test.
